Luxury Villa Construction in Chania, Crete

Building a home in the village of Spilia has been a lifelong dream of mine. As a child, I spent many summers there, and I always hoped that one day I would have a place to call my own. After years of renting, this was my very first home—and working with Kyriakos and the team made the experience truly exceptional.

From the beginning, Kyriakos made what seemed like an overwhelming process feel remarkably easy. Even the challenges of getting construction vehicles up the steep, rocky hillsides—which seemed nearly impossible—were handled with incredible skill and determination. In less than a year, they completed the construction of my home, and the results were beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

During the construction of the house, I was living in the USA—an entire world away—yet Kyriakos made sure I felt connected to every stage of the process. He communicated regularly, providing updates and sending photos of the progress. My aunt, who lives in Spilia, would often tell me how present and involved Kyriakos was, visiting the site daily and closely managing the construction team. His dedication and leadership were truly exceptional.

Kyriakos and his team were diligent, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to delivering a home of the highest quality. The materials they used were first-rate—both beautiful and built to last. Throughout the project, it was clear that Kyriakos cared deeply about bringing my vision to life. In fact, he didn’t just meet my expectations; he exceeded them.

I now have a home that captures all the beauty and spirit of the village I love so much. It is truly a dream come true, and I am endlessly grateful to Kyriakos and his incredible team. I would work with them again and again.

I am a Norwegian citizen (although born in Greece), I had been looking for a house/plot in Greece. Through a Greek shipowner friend of mine, I was recommended to explore the beautiful area around Kolimvari. On my first visit I met up with Mr. Kyriakos Paterakis and his team. They showed me around the area of Kolimvari and I landed on the project Minos Dreams (now Villa Lemonnia). I liked the location and the architecture of the villa. I wanted to make a few minor adjustments to the inside layout which Mr. Paterakis gladly accommodated.

The building process went according to schedule, and the craftmanship/quality of the work was outstanding exceeding normal building standards. Only the best quality building material was used together with highly skilled workers. During the whole building process I was kept weekly updated with a progress report and pictures. It is evident that Mr. Paterakis is putting his soul and pride in every project he and his team undertakes.

The result was a house which is outstanding in every way possible. Still today (11 years after completion) the house presents itself as a ‘brand new construction’.
